What each industry includes
The industry chart on this page uses the Bureau of Economic Analysis's 19 manufacturing industries, which are a little broader than the industry groups on the other pages. Each is listed with its NAICS codes and the site category it belongs to. Announced investment counts a project as manufacturing when its NAICS code starts with 31, 32 or 33.
